This unique crop originated in the highlands of Ethiopia, specifically in the Hambela region, famous for its fertile soil and elevation of over 2,000 meters above sea level. Its grains are grown by local farmers with expertise passed down through generations and carefully harvested by hand to ensure the highest quality.
The beans are dried using the natural sun-dried process, which brings out the sweetness of the fruit and intensifies the flavors within the bean. The result is a rich cup with bright fruity notes and a balanced, velvety body.
